The second Sea Lord, the present Captain of HMS Victory and the Head of Disposals for the M.O.D. have all authorised the material and every piece carries a deed of provenance. Originally the M.O.D. offered the material for tender. The supplying company made the successful bid and now owns the total oak and copper recovered. Each item purchased from our shop is supplied with the deed below.
